Little & Big: Music for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Classes held Weekly, 3:30 to 4:10 PM

Mt. Lebanon Location:  TBA

Coraopolis Location:  TBA

Music is so vital to a child's upbringing, but it's not always as simple as giving them piano lessons.  Oftentimes, opting for a lesson on an instrument isn't enough for your child's curiosity and artistic growth.

Allegheny Music Academy has a solution!  We offer private and semi-private courses that focus on general music education, as opposed to more specific instrument lessons.  This course, designed for toddlers and kids in Pre-K, will teach your child a wide variety of concepts, such as rhythm, music history, and simple note reading.  Each course will be taught by a highly qualified music educator and an assistant.  We keep our classes small so we can give each student the attention they deserve.

Catherine Cocco, a seasoned Philadelphia public school music teacher with 20+ years of experience and a master's degree in music education from the University of South Carolina, heads our program.  Dominique Theodore, our Assistant Teacher, a recent Duquesne University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, has already made a mark in the music community with notable performances.

The pricing for the class is $200 for 10 classes.  Stay tuned for updates on the location in Sewickley or Coraopolis, and the specific day of the week.

NOTE: Children must be accompanied by a caregiver during class, providing a fantastic opportunity for bonding and shared musical experiences!
